One of the most innovative drummer/composer/improviser in japanese avant-garde music scene. Born in 1961. Began playing proffesionally in early '80s. Made his own group "Ruins" in 1985, which is only Drums and Bass unit. "Ruins" plays very uinque high energy music that is mixture of comtenporary music, hard core and progressive rock. "Ruins" has got a lot of great reviews in and out of Japan, and have a lot of tours very often. Yoshida also has many other groups as a leader, "Koenjihyakkei" "ZUBIZUVA" "AKATEN" "KOREKYOJIN". He has been collaborate with JOHN ZORN, FRED FRITH, DEREK BAILEY, KEIJI HAINO, YOSHIHIDE OTOMO, etc...
