Conjoin:me is a collaboration between Sian-Kate Mooney and Hedley Roberts who have developed a series of pieces that explore the relationship between the image, the textile and the conjoined form. Examining the concepts and themes of cross-linking, engraftment, mirroring, twinning, and the double, they have produced a series of fabric sculptures using pattern-cutting, painting and large-scale digital textile printing. These sculptures will be presented at Super-Deluxe, Tokyo, on 31st July 2009 as forms that will be interacted with and 'worn' during a live performance event. The performance will be accompanied by audio visual media.

Guests will enjoy a screening of the international award-winning documentary, “Sharkwater” followed by a discussion with leading shark expert, Ms. Kim McCoy of Shark Angels. Ms. McCoy will discuss her experience in working with sharks including research and education. She will also share with the audience underwater footage of swimming and interacting with large sharks from around the world. With special live music performances and guest DJ's.
